Drew Gill

Drew is the project lead for the SuturingVR game and is a Computer Science and Chemistry graduate from the University of Florida. He has worked on SuturingVR since its inception and has worked to implement it within hospitals to improve the patient experience.

Juan Lam

Juan is an English Major in the University of Florida with a minor in Digital Arts and Sciences. He creates stories through the written word and other multimedia experiences like games and VR. If asked, he will say he likes books, comics, and electronis in that order.

Haohui Bao

Haohui is a Computer Science major at the University of Florida. She has worked with the team to improve the game experience and create digital assets in-game and in the project's publication.

Tri Nguyen

Tri is a Civil Engineering major, with minors in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, at the University of Florida. Outside of classes, he enjoys playing piano and soccer, practicing martial arts and gymnastics, and dancing for student organizations, such as the Chinese American Student Association. He is a part of the Carillon Studio, playing the bells in Century Tower weekly.

Sarah Foster

Sarah is a Computer Science major at the University of Florida. She has worked on unique scenes and gameplay mechanics for SuturingVR to make the game even more immersive.

Lydia Chung

Lydia is a Computer Science major at the University of Florida. She has worked on a unique scene within SuturingVR to provide a more diverse game experience.

Ammar Syed

Ammar is a Computer Science graduate from the University of Florida. He worked on game scripting and the website you're on right now!

Neeva Sethi

Neeva is a Computer Science major at the University of Florida. She was involved in the initial stages of SuturingVR and has served as the Vice President of Dream Team Engineering since 2021.

Emily Jones

Emily is a Computer Science major at the University of Florida. She worked on the initial stages of SuturingVR and has since served on the exec board of Dream Team Engineering as President and Director of Membership.

Josh Ryals

Josh is a Computer Engineering graduate from the University of Florida. He worked on the initial development of scenes and scripting in SuturingVR.

Dream Team Engineering

Dream Team Engineering is a group of engineering and non-engineering students alike that are dedicated to making novel technologies to enhance the lives of the Children at UF Health Shands. Our team works alongside physicians, nurses, child-life specialists, and PT/OT to create engineering devices to impact patient experience. Dream Team Engineering is currently composed of six individual teams that are tasked with developing specific technologies that will be used in-hospital to improve the experience for patients at Shands.

Equal Access Clinic

Equal Access Clinic's research program spans all things digital health with ongoing studies involving digital ophthalmoscopes, mobileECGs, and virtual reality. Their operations span 10 clinical sites throughout UF Health, involve multiple department chairs/division chiefs, and enrolls hundreds of patients on a weekly basis.
